I find it more entertaining going to my dentist than watching us

Paying £26 for the mind numbingly boring dross a McInnes side serves up is bloody ridiculous.

To be fair even when they try cheap as chip tickets or even free ones the crowd doesn't seem to go up any. Bottom line is if the experience is boring then folk won't go even if it's gratis.
The essence of good sport is competition - without that you have very little "product" to sell.

Slag the yanks all you like, but they recognise this with the way they structure their sports. Ok we cant do that here but there is, and has been, no attempt to encourage competition with Scottish football for many years - unless you count the two horse ugly sister borefest as competition, which sadly too many up here (including our club) do.

More people would pay the inflated prices if there was the remote chance of their team challenging and competing - not just AFC fans. As its an entirely predictable borefest, with a sh1te standard of football, zero competition for most & hugely inflated prices, so its hardly surprising only diehard types go regularly - & even they have a line in the sand as to how much dross they'll watch.

Add in the fact we're right on the doorstep of the most popular league in the world, & incredibly react to that my selling ourselves under the exact same model (even down to leagus names ffs) with an infinitely inferior product, its little wonder things have gone downhill rapidly.

People can also watch football from all over the world now & when you see the quality on offer elsewhere (where the money is to be fair) you realise the utter dross we are subjected to here & the ridiculous prices we are asked to pay for the privelage.

Doncaster will trot out the most watched league by head of population line. That may be true due to 2 teams - but the reasons for the draw those 2 teams have gets conveniently overlooked and ignored year after year...

The crowds all over Scotland must be down except for these 2. Livi crowd was full of celtic fans, it's quite insane.
Every game seen on tv is an almost empty stadium bar hearts/hibs them 2 & our fake numbers.
It's only a matter of time before they are forced to come up with some kind of radical structure to create a sort of equality. IMO
but with the voting structure in place can that happen.

Nothing will change mate - that ship sailed with Milnes scandalous blocking of the 11-1 vote change.

The uglies run the show again now. Unless there is a liquidation of one or the other, that will never change now. Even then our lot would probably just sh1t the bed again and push to get the status quo back ASAP.

The entire setup - SFA, SPFL & clubs only know one business model - sell the uglies & get the rest to make up the numbers. Our lot & the other diddy clubs are clearly quite happy with that. They even let the uglies dictate how many (or few) home games they have to allow to be put on TV. Less than the rest of us to protect their support - how much of a joke is that?

Barry Hearn ripped them a new @rsehole about how they package & sell the game up here 2-3 years ago. Lots of nodding & agreement that he was quite right, then they just went back to doing the exact same thing. Its all they know & none of them are capable of innovative or radical thinking to improve the overall setup.

How's Ernie Walkers think tank of the late 80's early 90's coming along...

I wouldn't be surprised if they actually propose allowing a Celtic/Newco B-Team into the league next.
Fan power will decide how long we put up with it.
I'm more hopeful , just don't know how long it will take. How many generations

It’s all good and well picking faults because of the 2 big teams from Glasgow. We can’t even change things at our own club because as fans we have lost the appetite for success. Milne has been a major catastrophe for Scottish football but he has been the exact same for our club. It’s folk like him that need chased from the game but when the fans don’t bother then the likes of him will do as they please. They think they are untouchable and it’s no wonder. We only have ourselves to blame in reality.

My conscious is clear. It's the supporters that were too busy counting loyalty points that have f*cked it

Exactly, get some ambition in your own club instead of hoping that Celtic and Sevco go backwards so you can challenge them.

The people really to blame for this is the passive Aberdeen fans, who don't demand that their club put up more of a fight to properly challenge and win trophies and allow the club to be run amateurly. Also, where did all that 44,000 fans go?

Yes the NFL shares the talent amongst the teams but their league is also a closed shop unless the franchise changes hands and moves to another city.

Being a closed shop was the one thing Scottish football had right. So obviously they f*cked that as well
