    They signed Kent for £7.5M last month. Have just had a £9M bid for some French striker rejected. I'm sure they could afford Shankland if they wanted to.

    For a club that went tits up and left massive debt behind it, then resurrecting itself under a new name that now has reportedly some £40m of new debt, one would think the high heid yin’s of Scottish fitba would be shouting ‘hud on a phukkin minute’ from the ramparts of Hampden on hearing that the new huns are splashing cash about like this, especially with Dodgy Dave at the helm.

    Suppose anything goes in order to halt the kiddie fiddlers though eh?
