    My dad was in the navy and served on MGB and MTB during the war,one skipper was Peter Scott. As i was born 2 days after D DAY he missed the landing on compassionate leave. MUM worked at Chilwell making bombs.

    My parents joined us in Australia at the age of 80,now the point, from the day they left the UK till the day they died their pension was frozen by the UK govt,what a nice way to treat veterans.....
