Yeah, Red Zone wasn't heaping praise on McInnes when he said that this Cameron hadn't watched a McInnes team in the last two seasons.

So basically, you're just reaffirming what Red Zone already has in his post

    Exactly...

I did say that I wouldn't post the link but because Red Zone's attempt to embed the link failed, here it is...

Yes. I wish I hadn’t witnessed us playing in the last couple of years...it’s been brutal.

What a non story. I don’t think anyone disputes that McInnes was good in his first couple of seasons but he’s on the toil now.

As for the quality of player he was left with when he took over, Johnny Hayes and Niall McGinn can be counted in that number. As has been said already, lazy out of touch journalism.

Who are all of these quality players he was left with?

    McGinn,Hayes,Reynolds and Anderson.

    Anyone else?

I’m surprised we finished in the bottom 6 with all of these quality signings Craig Brown left him

People are a bit unfair on Craig Brown

He was lumbered with some s'hite on contracts he couldn't break.

He definitely steadied a sinking ship.

On the other hand he made Foster captain, a crime so unforgivable he can rot in hell for all I care.

How many of the league cup winning squad were McInnes signings?

Well out of the players that played it was four I believe, Logan, Rooney, Flood and Robson.

Although he did have that shrewd signing Alan Tate waiting in the wings in case he needed someone who couldn't run to see out the last few minutes...

Rooney Robson Flood Logan Tate and Weaver.

McGinn,Hayes,Anderson and Reynolds were Browns signings.

    Vernon was your favourites signing.

    Langfield was Calderwoods signing.

Jack,Considine,Low and Smith came through the youth system.

So it wasn’t Craig Brown who left him with a squad of quality signings.
