    Not a proper record and rightly so with pacemakers dipping in and out and a car to help pace him.

    A great achievement nonetheless.

    His record stands for being the first human to run a full marathon in under 2 hours..similar to R Bannister's under 4 minute mile......using pace setters.
    Official world records are usually only set in actual competitions...like official events...
    But he is the first....will it be broken in an actual race....difficult to say.....
