Its like champions league football....so many can qualify now from a terrible money driven competition. Then once qualified it is like the champions league stuff again.....as long as you have league groups...it will never be exciting.....it should be more like the fa cup....straight knock out competition...no one wants to watch meaningless games...that is why grounds are empty even when giving tickets away...pointless money exercise....
Revert to a knock out competition....less games but more exciting games with huge interest.....bet the big national teams wouldn't like it....
So the simple answer is no I don't watch international matches...

Agree Johnny. Perhaps if these over paid
C unts donated their international earnings to a kids hospice or a similar charity - more people would take an interest!

I only watch the WC/Euro Finals and then I am particularly selective. For the qualifiers I just look for the final score. International football hols no interest for me really, nor does the Champions/Europa League.

Someone mentioned Scotland. Scottish football is just so poor it beggars belief. The Scots Premier League sides might make Div 1/2 league in England, other then Celtic/Rangers, who would be decent Championship level.

What really bugs Me is the BBC football which always put Scots Premiership tables/fixtures etc above The English Championship, how so? Does anyone, other than a handful of Scots, follow Scottish football?

I had a workmate from Sri Lanka. He liked most sports but was the most knowledgeable person I have ever known about Scottish football. He used to bet quite successfully on the results of lower league teams.

To be fair Baggiel they could have done with him the other night we didn't have one combative midfielder, no one breaking up play.

Please, no one mention Scottish rugby either. A nation failing.
