    Re young Gratton - no reason why he couldn't have been named as a sub on the days when we didn't have enough fit players for the bench. Would have been good experience for him, even if he didn't get onto the pitch, and might have inspired him to try to break into the first team.

    Possibly playing behind the main forward in 4-4-1-1. Played as fairly attacking midfielder behind the likes of Kayode/ Lewthwaite/ Etia (or two of them) last season in the reserves games I saw. With Kayode and Etia on loan and Lewthwaite gone he may have had to fill in up front today when Morris went off. He's a bit like Wiles.

    Yes exactly that.

    A flaw that should be easy to eliminate with the right coaching.
