What a tragic loss of life of one so young. All her life ahead of her. Life can be extremely cruel at a moments notice.

God bless you Charlie and may you be at peace. My sincere condolences to Charlie's parents and loved ones at such a tragic time.

Slightly older than my Grandaughter and I'll respect the 16th minute

Is it too much to ask the club the put her picture on the scoreboard for the 16th minute not all Millers are on FB + MillersMad so it'll make them more aware

@ millertop, never ever apologise for putting information like this on here.
Like Graham I too had a tear in my eye when I read the O/P.
Good suggestion putting it on the big screen and the scoreboard.

It’s been all over FB and a few who work at NYS have noticed and will let the club know so they might do something but obviously would need to speak to the parents

Yes I also had a few tears reading it and Charlie will definitely get a standing ovation from me on the 16th minute

Jeez, so sad. RIP to this lovely young lass Charlie. Every loving parent's worst nightmare.

Agree with all sentiments, life can be such a ******* amongst the joys. A reminder to appreciate it and all around us whilst we have it.

    Hope the applause is resounding.

Some Oxford fans on about trying to get a banner made for Charlie.
Brings a lump to my throat.
