Coventry City wear 2-Tone kit inspired by The Specials

What a kit this is, I did wonder why they were wearing it at home

    Quite like it.

Reminds me of early Z-cars episodes from black and white tv.

Ironically The Specials were always fighting, and still are to this day.

Jerry Dammers sued the reunited band, which he is not in, for using the name.

Neville Staple was kicked out, Roddy Radiation left.

They never practised what they preached.

So were you expecting them to still be going with exactly the same line-up from the 1970s?
Some of them are still playing live - Neville Staples played in the Cutlers a few weeks ago.
Not too sure what the last sentence is supposed to mean

Great band in their day. Saw Neville a couple of months ago and it was a great Ska evening, all the Specials classics + more greats.

Totally recommend him if he comes around to Yorkshire again

"Not too sure what the last sentence is supposed to mean"

I'm assuming it's a reference to their hit Ghost Town

"bands don't play no more, too much fighting on the dance floor"

Also in the dressing room apparently

The kit is ok I suppose but 2 tone isn't the right name for it.
2 tone for me is fabric that changes colour depending which side you look at it from.

This kit would be best suited for a chess competition.

    Great music though!

There's also a matching, hat, tie and "specials" badge available
