Dark and thought provoking. I can imagine it making uncomfortable viewing for some but I'd definitely recommend it nonetheless.
    Phoenixs performance was awesome
Kind of uncomfortable to watch for me, but good film

There's a very dark side to my sense of humour and sense of self. The macabre appeals to me far more than it repels. It's just the way my mind's learned to adapt and deal with things.... we're all different. I was perfectly comfortable with the film as a whole and as you say, Phoenix was superb.

Cracking film Dubs, I also saw the other version....Shaving Ryan’s Privates If I remember correctly.

Seriously, best film I’ve seen at the flicks was Twister on the main big screen at Merry Hill. With the massive screen and surround sound you almost felt like you were right inside the Tornado, unbelievable. Saw it several times on TV since and sadly nowhere near the same effect.

Yesterday. Saw it about six weeks ago. Low key, quirky little love story with great music well delivered. Much better than Rocketman, for me anyway.

Have seen it a number of times on small screen but quite spectacular on the big screen.
The opening scene was shot down in Wexford, Ireland. Curracloe beach, not far from where I usually take my holiday in winter.
Apparently Spielberg and co were in and out of the local pub and very much at ease in the area...very small town indeed and wonderful nature reserve adjacent to those fantastic beaches....
The local pub was renamed the Omaha beach.......

Last one I saw at the picks/cinema starred Daniel Craig, and Adele sang the lead song. I think it was about a bunch of builders because it was called 'Scaffold', or summat like that.
