To think' we could have been in a right mess' looking back under Xia' it was probably a good job we lost the the first play off final. Xia would have run off with the sky money?

Makes you wonder what kind of checks Randy conducted on the guy.

I thought the FA ran the checks? Where did he get the money to buy Villa? Did he just put the debt on the club like the Glaziers at manure?
Saying that 30k is not a lot of money to warrant an arrest surely!

I just read this story and out of curiosity, hopped over to Dr Xia's twitter page. He's posted, claiming that the story is false, and started by a local competitor, seeking to discredit him …

He was given the all clear from the EFL after passing the due diligence and fit and proper person test which obviously is not fit for purpose.

We are so very fortunate to have been taken over by our current owners who have our club back on track. As we know other clubs have not been so fortunate.

I dont think we actually dodged a bullet, i think we took a bullet but it was no more than a flesh wound, one inch either side and it would have been fatal.
Xia came in with outragious promises that really we should have all seen through but we were down and out, vunerable. The downfall was momentus, our Villa was lost.we have it back now and come what may, in safe hands. Good times lie ahead. Xia will become a distant memory like a poor relationship.
Forget him, We have our Villa back but when we get beat and your feeling down, just think of that Bullet!
