    The Ball.

I saw a video in one of the papers of an FC of Manchester goal recently. A player cleared the ball from his own half, and a player won a header two yards inside his own half, heading it back towards the opposition goal.

It flew like a rocket, bounced just outside the opposing box, and over the keeper, bouncing like those old bouncy rubber balls I had as a kid.
Goalkeepers, when taking a drop kick from the edge of the area, only have to tap it, or it would fly out the ground. When shooting, if a player catches it right, it will go like an Exocet, giving the keeper no chance, even though the shooter is 30 yards away.

When these balls came out, the manufacturer boasted that the ball flies quicker. Football is more of a joke than you imagined.

    Cardinal Beppo of Treviso.
