    Poor Motherwell lose to Aberdeen

Motherwell missed the chance to make a statement of intent with a poor performance against Aberdeen at Fir Park. There can be no complaint at the 3-0 defeat as the visitors grew in confidence with every passing minute.

We simply didn't look up for the game and gave the appearance, at least, of being unprepared and surprised by Aberdeen's strengths and weaknesses.

We looked like a “team” that didn’t believe in ourselves or our teammates. We didn’t seem to know or understand what our roles/positions within the team where or involved. IMO we were still on break and at no time did we look like we were up for the game, reality must kick in now. Five goals lost at home to Celtic, three lost to a average Dons side and now a trip to Ibrox on yesterday’s performance we could lose anywhere between 4 to 6 goals
