“I will have read it by seven o’clock tonight, I hope. I will be studying it this afternoon,” he added."
He hasn't even got the excuse of the other Labour rebels that they're doing what their constituents told them. His manor, Poplar & Limehouse, voted 65% remain.
He's away to chuck it anyway so obviously doesn't give a flying fig.
