Charlton gave everything in an end to end game but still came away with nothing to show from Ashton Gate and more injuries to compound the team's woes.

But nonetheless their efforts and endeavour in this scintillating game cannot be faulted and once again Macauley Bonne found himself on the score sheet and put Charlton in the lead on 65 minutes. The Bristol City winner came in the last minute of stoppage time and though points between the teams in the top half are close, Charlton now sit in 10th and face league leaders WBA next.
