    Newcastle Match Thread

Wolves in their first match without Boly. Deondonker and Saiss starting in the back 3 in his place. Was going to praise our early play but we just gave up a shot that should have been easily put away by Newcastle

Scratch that, looks like Doherty in the back 3 with Donk in the midfield 3

Fernandez steps across Jota and knocks him in the head with his shoulder. Looks like a concussion

    Wolves concede first.

Before the match, the announcers said that Wolves have not won back to back road matches since they’ve been promoted. So I guess most of our victory predictions were off the mark!

Flat, boring, predictable, no shape, pass it side wards, backwards and then hoof it. Not the best first half really was it?

H.T. 1-0 and if we are honest we can only admit that Newcastle are well worth their 1 goal. We started very brightly, but it didn't last long. Oh how we miss Wily Boly. Hope, Nuno, can inject a bit more eagerness and guile after the break. So far, our mate, Jimenez, seems to be out of this one, or is it just my imagination ? COYW !!!

Jota misses just about the easiest header he’ll ever get. Perfect cross from Traore and Jota with a free run down the middle of the box. Just completely hit it over.

Wolves getting the ball in dangerous areas. Just need that finishing product. But that’s usually the story against the teams that let us have possession.
