Jimenez misses a header on a cross that was over his head, goalie hits it right into the feet of Jonny Otto on the spot and he knocks it home for Wolves to equalize.

    Let’s go get that winner!

Newcastle have been down to 10 men for about the last 15 minutes plus stoppage time. But they’r ebunkering in and going for the draw.

Thought Doherty was going to head that in for the win! Just wide though.

VAR looking at a potential penalty with a Newcastle player hanging onto Doherty. VAR says no penalty though.

Defender had Doherty’s shirt. Would have been a marginal penalty call however. But you know Wolves aren’t going to get the benefit of the doubt if it happens with them against one of the big clubs!

    Full time 1-1.

Moral of the story: Don’t concede first on the road. Could have been 3 points, but we will have to settle for 1.

FT 1-1....the one that got away......again. Thanks to a lacklustre first half we add another draw to our record so far this season. Enough already. Much better performance in the second half, but it just wasn't to be.

Steve Bruce today has come out defending the atrocious tackle on Nevis. He claims that Neves wasn't injured, and was rolling around to get his player sent off. Specsavers needed Mr Bruce. I wonder what his reaction would have been had it been a Toon player that had suffered this treatment?

Once again VAR is used against us, how Doherty wasn't awarded a penalty late on, only the man in charge will know. I watched the game in a pub in Blackpool with supporters from many different clubs. To a man, they all thought it should have been a penalty.

I fail to understand the logic behind some of the VAR decisions. The sooner that Steve Bruce is sacked and remains out of football, the better football will be.
