This is the worry isn't it. Plus the quality of performance when scraping wins.

Not sure if ill have a double reply here as my last seemed to dissapear,

Listen, I would take 3 points and poor performances every week but we are so reliant on one player continuing to be clinical with his limited chances that its still a worry.

I thought over the 90 both teams were very poor. If both teams take their big chances we lose that 2-1 as they missed 2 headers from corners that they really should have scored from.

The current performances behind the results though is worrying and I still believe it is self inflicted from Neilson. He is overthinking everything and playing not just 1 but multiple players out of position on a weekly basis. IMHO this is all a result of him trying to find a role for Pawlett. Since Pawlett was brung in to the starting 11 our performances have dropped, Neilson started being shifting around Appere and has in turn caused confusion about who we want at left mid. Last night even after he went off they had clearly worked on McMullan up top and still tried to work with that.

Although id feel for Pawlett if injured again, personally id rather he was out the picture as hes offering nothing and Id rather Neilson had only the attacking players available to him as we had at the start of the season

I hope we are that pathetic all season

Unrealistic to think we should be knocking goals on left right and centre in this league, this is our level, it will be a battle to get out this league, no one is or ever was going to run away with it this season

Partick got all their pts away from home and won 3-1 at Inverness and Dundee in the last few weeks
Sorry. Everything is brilliant. Performances are amazing. Robbie's tactics and team selections are fantastic. We have players all over the park scoring goals. Of course I'm being unrealistic to expect better performances from a team with a £4m wage bill. My apologies.

    Where was anyone saying that?

I do think its unrealistic to expect regular good performances in this league as the opposition won't allow it and its not going to happen, the reality is we will have to grind out wins a lot of the time if we are to win the league, that is the case for most who do win this division

To call things pathetic right now though just doesn't ring true with the league table despite recent performances hardly installing confidence

It's surely got to be a positive to win last night in a game like that, brutal as it was, imagine the uproar had we not taken 6 pts?

P.s couldn't care less about wage bill, red herring, bigger wage bills have failed to get out this league and we won't know the true picture until next year's accounts

King was fecking brutal, if that two footed sliding tackle connected in 1st half it would have been a straight red.

Game changed when King went off, then we got the goal, granted it went from s**te to awful, so not a huge improvement

It was slightly strange when we had just managed to move his brother out on loan / away etc.

Personally, I would give the guy more time before writing him off. First start in the league. Tough job playing in a midfield two that is always up against a three. Not sure what we expect of our midfielders but our current system doesn't make it easy for them. King didn't have a great game. Did some ugly work well enough at times though. Wrong to write him off til he has had a fair crack at it.

The big positive in the game for me, aside from the win, was the combination play between Clark and Shankland in the second half. Some rare but pleasing moments in that. Gives me hope that we can always fashion chances regardless how badly we are playing.
