Hypocrisy again. Lovely. Thanks for that. Well let's try and tun this into something positive.
If this has to persist (thanks Kerr!) I can in my defense (ha!) that I work for a 'soup kitchen' at the Stratford Centre in East London and every other Sunday PM 5 - 8pm (just in from it tonight) I work with volunteers serving food that my wife (and sometimes me when I can be arsed) and loads of other local volunteers from the area make and serve to local homeless people. It's made a few headlines recently as a rare commercial centre that shuts doors to customers at 'closing time' and then leaves them open for rough sleepers. Very fruity atmosphere as you can imagine it pulls in a lot of problem folk from the neighborhood but very well organised and our part of it (not just ladlers) has managed to get over 30 people into employment from hooking them in from their visits here in the last 8 months or so. Dunt sound much and I'm sure Howdy will howl with derisive laughter but that's 30 lives that have actually moved on, as well as keeping lots of others fed.

Nearer home though (to you in Rotherham) whilst I am about it (sorry Yak, didn't want to go into this but can see it will run and run) a shout out to my inspirational nieces from Rotherham at regularly cook and serve at the Sheffield Soup Kitchen. I thought it would be nice to tun this ****e of cynicism and self obsession into an opportunity to plug a local venture that is pretty cool:
https://sheffieldsoupkitchen.com/
Both of them hugely support this venture also:

As we move into the winter, donations to either in your local communities would be very happily received.
Otherwise, if you want to do a bit more than just give your taxes that are unfortunately legally forced from you, have a look at:

And of course now, in the mighty logic of MM, I'll get pelters from the "who do you think you are, bloody mother Teresa?" posters on here, but tbh I don't give a ****
But donations would be good and if you do volunteer, my experience of it is that is actually very good fun.
