    Line up v Liverpool

    Bunn

    Richards
    Lescott
    Okore
    Cissoko

    Bacuna
    Westwood
    Gueye

    Vertout
    Gil

    Gabby

The last time we played Liverpool in the league, at home, we lost 6-0...

Cant imagine why with THAT defence and Gabby up front?!

Looking at that line up Sam

I’d say they did well to keep the score in single figures

That team got relegated that season. Glad to see the quality of the squad has improved thanks to 140m spent in the summer. Without that huge input our team would probably look similar.

As for the line up against Liverpool, I would use the same 11 that beat Norwich. I think we showed city to much respect having two holding midfielders.

L'pool will enjoy lots of possession and look to play in our half, we need to be right at it to play through them - thought we looked a bit unbalanced against City, possibly because we hadn't started with 2 defensive midfielders.

Back 4 picks itself and if Jack is fit to start the 4-1-3-2

    Heaton +4,
    Nakamba
    Jack,Douglas,SJM
    AEG & Wes

AEG gets the nod ahead of Trez as he's got a goal/assist in him.

Lansbury in for Jack if he's not fit and Conor a good option off the bench if we're still in the game after 60mins.

That looks good to me, just hope AEG has't used up all of his goals per game quota.
