    Deep Purple were a far better band than Simply Red - who were (was?) noxious. Perhaps King Crimson or the Chilli Peppers

    Indeed...though it wasn’t meant as a critique of any bands. Of the four or five mentioned I’d go with King Crimson...coincidentally the first band I ever saw in Derby, while Deep Purple were the first band I ever saw anywhere...at Manchester Uni two years earlier.

    Hoping for a whitewash of any type of red next weekend.

    RA they don't play in red it's garabaldi What they have to do with an Italian general I'm not sure Think it takes the biscuit though

    Agree with that! Funny season so far, no one in commanding form. Only Hull have won 3 on the trot out of the last 5 games at sit at half way in 11th position, no one has won more than 3 games out of the last 5 games and Preston win at Charlton and go top! Can Rooney make a difference and take us to the promised land? I think our new captain and keeper are our weak links!
    Anyone can get promotion in this league, just hope we're one of them!
