We needed a hold up striker along with a defensive improvement,Sadly we invested in 2 strikers who might not make the grade.
Very few teams who want to get out this league will invest heavily in players who might do it.
It's all about a healthy balance of cleaver recruitment and tried and tested championship players.
Tony mowbray has squandered money on players who are arguably no better than what we have in the youth team.
Butterworth or vale might be good
Gallagher or brereton might be good
The difference is the latter has cost us many millions, that could of been used elsewhere.

I think I'm just going to wait and see on all this.
Last season, we had an even worse run and things looked very black. Then we played Derby, who had hammered us away (except on the score-sheet!), and we suddenly looked a different team.
If we lose to Barnsley, I think Mowbray may be doomed, but a lot of posts seem to imply that only Rovers ever go on a bad run, and that bad runs can't be turned round under the same manager.
    Neither is true.
