    After 11 Games

We are only 1 point behind Tottenham and Man U
I for one would have been very happy with that a the beginning of the season

....who are both only 5pts off the relegation zone themselves with Man utd having the worst start to a season in 33 years.

But a nice attempt at spin anyway fella.

    Context is everything.

it says far more about the shit season they're having than it does about how well we're doing.

Which we're not, imo, unless your standards are so low you think 12 points after 11 games is doing well? 3 good wins and 3 poor draws doesn't mean we're doing well (which you saying you're "very happy with" implies). Apologies if my inference is too strong.

Agree that, hopefully, it's onwards and upwards for us.

I happen to think that being 15th in the Premier League is nothing to shout about.

Well consider this. In the first of Fatties relegations well into the season, about this stage, we were second bottom and Spurs were beneath us.

Finish that season and we went down with a bump and Spurs finished comfortable top half.

Since then Spurs have gone from strength to strength, appointing a top manager, building a £1 billion stadium and investing heavily in training and youth facilities besides the first team squad. So don't gloat at being around the same position as Spurs because at the end of the season they will be close to the top, playing in a billion pound stadium with a top class manager and more importantly, decent owners with vision and foresight proud to own their club..

Think about this for a moment ,some fans have seen nothing but an Ashley run club .It's heart breaking to think young fans are now content with survival. Its his legacy of mediocrity.

I was trying to say that my expectations were that we would prop up the table and be relegated by Christmas
I don’t want Ashley but also Iam not going to celebrate another relegation like some on this forum that won’t get rid of him just give the fans more heartache
