With regards to the spitting on a steward, - that is completely unacceptable and Ayr Utd should either identify the person concerned, so that he / she can be appropriately punished through the courts or pay compensation to the company providing the stewarding. Football cannot tolerate behaviour of that type towards a steward, - who is simply doing his job and is employed to keep us all safe. It's like attacking ambulance staff or fire-fighters.
Perspective is everything Jardi and from the different angles it is clear that it would have been extremely harsh if a penalty was awarded when Dobbie went down running into the box but does show the difficulties that the refs have.
