    sterling for the last 3 years has been one of the best players in the world but because he’s not Spanish or South American he doesn’t get the merit.
    Instead people say dumb stuff like it’s only because of the manager or anyone would play well in that team.
    Well you could level that with the majority of Messi’s career then.
    Man City play just about the most technically advanced type of football where everyone needs to be insanely fit. And he’s pretty much the first name on the team sheet.

    Totally agree, there was someone on here last year saying he was the most overrated player in the premier league?
    How ridiculous is that?

    That is the correct answer over the last year along with Mane & Van Djik they are the best players in the premier league by some distance.

    Sterling has always been a good player even before he went to City people will say Pep made him better maybe to some extent but when he left Liverpool he was still very very young only 20/21 so he has had time to get even better like you say Messi at 27 was better than Messi at 22 same with Ronaldo too.
