NEW YEARS EVE DO AT THE TURF. Just booked for me and the Child Bride, staying over in Burnley and hopefully shipshape for the Villa game which kicks off New Years Day at 12.30.

3 course dinner plus the usual New Years Eve stuff and not bad at £40.00 a pop I don't think?

We would BT, but I suspect our better halves might have insisted we shut the feck up about football and politics before we bored them witless. In the event we'll be out with my sister-in-law and her partner, who's a fully paid up member of the loony left, that should be fun.
