Be careful if you are out and about folks think these piccys were from earlier on so they could be much worse now. Also reliably informed River Don high near NYS. Lets hope the flood defences hold...
Someone saying river don in town burst its banks. Can't quite work out where this exactly is , think I would shift those cars in the background tho.

Yep thought it might be Cookes Casp. Lad has just rung to say town grid locked as rush hour traffic copes with floods. Theyve also got the roadworks at the roundabout to contend with as well. Dunt sound like anyone should venture out now...

Spot on! It's been taken from the back of the bus station. To the left is the small car park at the side of the Old Trades Club car park. Those cars should be shifted and sharpish.
Can't believe how much rain came down overnight, had flooding on my property with blocked drains etc took over two hours for drainage contractor to clear them.
Can see the Don breaching in many areas if the rain continues overnight. According to reports we are to receive a months rain in 72 hours!

Cleaning drains out could help a bit (can’t remember last time they were out near me)
Cumwell Lane between bramley-Thurcroft was starting to flood earlier then I saw it had been shut of due to overturned lorry
Could help if maybe the fields had ditches
Laughton common and Dinnington also have flooding
Whiston was a nightmare earlier so I’d avoid for now
Wickersley mainly passable
Ravenfield have flooding.
I’m just glad I’m home with the amount of idiotic drivers I see, how some are even allowed on road is beyond me
Few problems on train earlier aswell when a car hit a barrier

Update ... BBC Radio Sheffield Football Heaven cancelled tonight - going to be a programme about the flooding instead
Farmers removing hedgerows piss me off. To gain a couple of feet of land.
Half the fields on Sunnyside lanes washed onto road.
