O'Neill to Stoke confirmed but he will remain in charge for the final Euro 2020 qualifiers and the play-offs - which given the situation in that group is virtually certain. So a strange one for everyone...Robbo or whoever could easily accept the job from next summer.

Based on current performances in Europe by the Old Squirm, the co-efficient for Scotland could give 2 teams in CL qualification stages next year. That'd mean an extra Europa League slot ... so, should we finish 5th (not impossible), Robbo would have a range of options to pick from perhaps?
