Are we about to lose Robinson?

If media reports are true Stoke City are in serious negotiations with the Northern Ireland manager Michael O誰eil and are about to agree compensation with the Irish FA. Reports further state if O誰eil leaves Irish FA will make a formal approach to Motherwell for Robinson.

O’Neil confirmed as Stoke City manager he will remain with Irish team for their next two games

Unless they prefer Tommy Wright, that'll be that.

The perfect storm....The Hibs Hertz & NI job up for grabs. He's on his way I'm afraid.

I wouldn't have thought that Robbo was quite readfy for the Northern Ireland job yet...maybe in a few years. Tommy Wright will be their preferred candidate. He's achieved more than Robbo but on a higher budget admittedly. Somebody is doing a lot of leaking to press. Is it Robbo's agent?

Wright has achieved more but football is the ultimate 'what have you done lately' business and he seems to have peaked already while Robbo is on the way up. I definitely hope NOI prefer him to Robbo but who knows. Is Robbo ready? Also who knows but I seriously doubt he'll risk not being asked again if given the chance this time.

As for us, I still can't see past Lasley as our next boss. I'm normally against first-timers getting our job but current circumstances would soften those concerns, at least depending on how long he gets and/or his assistant.

O'Neill to Stoke confirmed but he will remain in charge for the final Euro 2020 qualifiers and the play-offs - which given the situation in that group is virtually certain. So a strange one for everyone...Robbo or whoever could easily accept the job from next summer.
