    Playing out from the back

Yet again this latest trend has cost a team (or two teams including us) dear. Derby completely fkcd up by making a total mess of playing out from the back. Ultimately it’s cost them their local derby and we now have Forest closer to us in the table.

    Grrrrrrrrrrrr

    COYBB today.

It only works if you have technically gifted backs. We are probably better placed than most teams now to do this but a kick into the stands has to happen for safety sometimes.

Teams have to mix and match. If it's safe do so. If there are 4 or 5 opposition about give it a punt, They won't have enough at the back to cope if our lads know what is happening and surge forward.

Any time the ball is been played along the grass is fine by me...always liked that style....
But the ball the other night by Saywers against Stoke in the second half was a delight...to whom I cant remember...but HRK headed against the post from the cross. That type of ball in the air is also a delight.....So we seem to be getting better or more confident.....but still get a little nervy watching it....

You could do it with Batson and Statham, and someone like Franz Beckebauer at CB.
