[QUOTE=garibaldi;39361333]Yates' standing leg slips whilst making the tackle and therefore was not intentional nor reckless, just a foul.

Yes accidentally slipped again when he got Watson booked instead Sorry he's just a clogger poor player You just have better than him

True GP...but ‘never pass across your own goal/penalty area’ was the mantra. I know football has become more complicated but I wish Bogle had heard it.
Sometimes our ‘tw*tting about’ at the back just looks like an accident - aka giveaway goal - waiting to happen...and the opposition know it.

Went in, accidentally or not, with 2 feet and studs up. Many a ref would have given him a red. This bloke didn't even give him a yellow. This bloke got it wrong.

Also grew up with the same mantra. It's suicidal, there are areas to play and areas not to play. Also infuriates me when defenders head the ball inside - either clear it down the pitch or put it out, rather than putting a nice through ball through for the opposition.

MA yes poor ref imo I've seen him a few times never seems in control to me He gave that pen to Cardiff the other week at P/park when the player clearly bought it Even Colin said it was dubious

Clarke did Yates a massive favour by trying to get on with it straight away. Ultimately however, he had sustained a real injury. When you look at the causing tackle, it really should have been red.

Lawrence’s was a red all day long. Maybe ref had the Yates / Clarke incident in his head. Would have been awfully unfair that their tackle that was dangerous and DID cause injury was penalised less that Lawrence’s lunge.

Sow and Semedo are better than him, but they're currently injured. Bostock is technically better, but Yates adds dynamic ability and physicality and is partly the reason why your midfield was anonymous as he gave them little time on the ball.

Yes wouldn't be hard to be better than him Got a feeling he was there to do a job ,and don't mean being creative There's a difference between being hard and being dangerous
