13 down, 23 to go, Queens at home next up

Important not to lose focus, now is the time to press home the advantage and be ruthless especially with the other teams round us not playing due to the challenge cup, also to prove people wrong who think we need Shankland to be a strong side, or course he enhances us undoubtedly but more than capable of winning games all the same

Queens are in decent form now and beat us comfortably on the plastic last time, since then we've won 4 with 4 cleansheets and are looking for a 9th consecutive league win at Tannadice (10th in the city), however they are the last team to win at Tannadice in the league though it was daylight robbery as we battered them on the day and missed a few sitters

Only change we need to make is Cammy Smith coming into the starting xi

    Siegrist
    L Smith Watson Reynolds Robson
    Butcher Harkes
    McMullan C Smith Appere
    Clark

Subs; Deniz Brown Connolly Sporle King Stanton Chalmers

Yeah this game is mega important! (I seem to think that every wk tho!)
Get the points on the board, get 9 ahead of Ayr and 12 (let's be honest it's as good as 13 as that goal difference ain't gonna swing) in front of the fun.

442 with smith up top as per OAs - he must be hungry as hell to prove a point.

No chance we are starting this (or any other game 4-4-2). Hopefully he'll play Smith at the #10 position but he'll probably bring in Stanton. For reasons best known to himself.

Smith and Clark up front would be a non starter in my eyes, not enough presence in the air or strength to hold up and create.

Would maybe put Appere up front with Clark just off him and slide Stanton into the left side.

    Big match.

Time for the rest of the players to prove our attacking threat without Shanks and that this in NOT a one man team only

Smith a proven number 10 and Clark a number 9 all day long. f uck the air presence, not like the two of them are skinny wee laddies either

Agreed. Start Smith and Clark. Appere from the bench if we need to change the game.
