At 4.10am this morning we became grandparents to a wonderful and healthy little baby boy who is already the apple of my eye .

After a difficult birth mum is recovering and doing fine .

Absolutely made up we are , the baby's head will of course be watered in suitable fashion .

Absolutely knackered I am !!!!

Congrats Animal and Family. Enjoy , as you will know they grow up all to quickly !

18 hours in labour before finally he entered the world , obviously you aren't going through what my step daughter was physically but good grief mentally that's off the scale .

The little man didn't want to show us his face .

JLO , her partner and Nan were in there but obviously it's not appropriate for me so I'm the one pacing up and down in an outside room and kept in the loop as and when convenient .

So proud of them for giving us this little chap , he's perfect in every way and I'm sure to get in to bother for spoiling him rotten in the years to come .

His dad comes from a family of Wendy's as he's from Rotherham Linz so I expect he will follow them .

I'll just take a back seat on this one as his dad has first dibs really .
