Their situation is slightly different to ours in that they included the sale in the previous accounting year yet only registered at the land registry this year

It'll be interesting to see what they pull us up on as we filed the sale in the correct FFP year, the valuation and sale was OK'd by the EFL and we have that in writing, they'll look silly if they back track on any of that, if they do then I can see Derby taking them to court not Boro

Im not sure that the land registration date makes a difference, FFP year keys off accounts year, so if their auditors OK'd it going into 17-18 accounts then surely its rightly in FFP 17-18

My understanding was that the EFL approved the sale in principal, but not the valuation, but I may be wrong. If they are happy with the valuation, then we ought be fireproof, but...........

If that’s the case is the fact that our valuation of PP was roughly equivalent to Villa Park and the Madejski put together a concern?

Is it just Pride Park or Moor Farm as well that’s valued at £80m?

But they only registered the change with the land registry this year even though they included the sale in last years accounts, is that wrong or not I don't know but I reckon that's what Sheffield Wednesday have been pulled up on

In terms of us it's basically the ground valuation hence the EFL conducting their own valuation, a valuation can be subjective though but whatever it was was signed off by the EFL, Mel says we have that in writing so what's to investigate? If they do an about turn and sanction us for something previously signed of as perfectly OK and within the rules then the EFL make themselves look fools and I'm pretty certain DCFC will take them to court

I believe the academy and moor farm are in a seperate company which had not filed figures last time I looked

The accounts only refer to the stadium as having been sold; the accounts of the academy do not contain any value that it likely to be Moor Farm. There is a bit of a residual property asset in the club accounts which could be Moor Farm but its only a few milllon

Why is there a new post on this? There is already other posts on this subject
Bringing it up is only an attempt at undermining DCFC and RA will get upset lol
