    Why Always Pickford?

Is it only me but I am a little concerned with Tom Heaton injured that Southgate is not giving game time to his other keepers. Surely the dead rubbers against Montenegro and Kosovo were an ideal opportunity to give Pope and Henderson a call? Any chance now for either in Kosovo?

Southgate is phucking clueless IMHO. Pope needs exposure to international football and he simply must start against Kosovo. I will not hold my breath though.

Pickford has already shown his capabilities. With England 5-0 up at half time did it not occur to Southgate that he should look at his other keepers? I won’t be holding my breath for the Kosovo game either BT.

Wasting your time boys , Southgate has just nicely slipped into the Fa puppet role - lap dog scenario which eventually we knew he would.
Not just a Burnley claret tinted specs view either that I just think he’s come of the rails, started with the best intentions of picking form players and sadly now it’s gone.

I bet if Pickford got injured he wouldn’t play Pope.

If Pickford gets injured Southgate is up the proverbial creek without a paddle.

The other worry with the Kosovo game is how easily Kosovo ran through our back four at Wembley. If Pope or Henderson play how confident would they feel with Maguire and Stones in front of them? I think Mings was good in Bulgaria and then gets dropped. Another Southgate error?

Is the England goalkeeping coach also the Everton goalkeeping coach?

Simply because Pickford is the best keeper. And Popeye is third choice keeper.

longer word than Pope - so the commentator can make it sound more dramatic to the ear ?
