I’m expecting another bounce back like at Woking after the Chezzie defeat. Booty spent last season at Aldershot so can see him scoring if he plays. Aldershot will be having their annual scrap with relegation again this season, currently just 3 points off the drop zone but having played one game more and with a worse GD. Interestingly if we beat them their home and away records so far this season will be identical, W3 D2 L6.

It'll be the side to side game which wouldn't be so bad if we knew when to look up and spot a runner - which we never can. If Aldershot's manager watched last week's shambles against Barrer he'll apply the same pressure and just wait for the same stray passes from the same players to appear with the same regularity and bobsyeruncle - wallop.
Anybody got confidence in Ardley's willingness or ability to change tactics or the players in what we laughingly call "midfield"? Anyone? No? Nor me.
One thing's for certain, many of the managers in this league now are aware of how to play Notts. It's going to be a long, cold winter.
