Cardiff already have a new Manager so what are Barnsley playing at?

Neil Harris is the new Manager of Cardiff City and the appointment has taken less than a week, where as Barnsley sacked their Manager over 5 weeks ago and still haven't drawn up a shortlist. Paul Warne to be approached?

Perhaps no decent manager wants the job?

Or Barnsley don’t want to pay for a manager with a proven track record?

I think I'd rather be managerless than have Neil Harris.

One of the quickest appointments I've ever seen. Looking back, Harris walks away from Millwall and heh presto he's back managing within 8 weeks, tapped up or what!

Is there a grassy knoll somewhere in this theory

Nobody wants to come here and work under the owners parameters .

    It's that simple .

Any ownership who cared about keeping our championship status would have told Warnock to name his price .

I'd be hiring some bodyguards if these owners want to carry on here if I was them .

It's going to get real ugly before too long .

You'll be OK, it'll all blow over soon enough. You'll get a new manager and you'll avoid relegation. At the end of the season you'll look back on these last few weeks and wonder what all the fuss was about.

All depends how much Warne wants a week....

Barnsley are set to appoint Gerhard Struber as their new head coach after he left Austrian side Wolfsberger AC.

    Or so goes the rumour
