Away - not sure if it's at Field Mill though. I don't think that our recent FA Youth Cup game was played there

Details on RUFC Official site now. Also says Millers are expected to field a "young side", even though Warney has said that some of the more senior players need "game time"

I seem to remember that it was one of his bug bears when he took over that the reserves weren't being played by senior players.

We may have had a lot more idle players swinging the lead back then.

Whilst it’s good in theory that fringe players should play in the reserve games to get game time it’s also quite clear that reserve games are nowhere near the standard of first team games. So effectively it’s just a gentle run out.

Match going ahead. Squads warming up on "3G" pitch at the moment. No team news yet
