If the EFL had imposed a 3 point deduction on Bolton and awarded Doncaster a 1-0 win, as Bolton had forfeited the game, I don’t think many would have complained and everyone could have put it all to rest. A 3 point deduction would have benefited every club included those that already had played Bolton but at least it would have been a compromise.

Instead it just goes on and on...
