Those are all very good highlights but the best one is he managed to turn Aberdeen into a club that thinks finishing 3rd and getting to the odd final is a success.

I never forgave him for his “wanting a strong ‘Rangers’ “ comment.
Completely unforgivable for an Aberdeen chairman.
Never got the impression he was fighting our corner.
    I’d hope that changes.

I just think he was a bit gullible. Trying to please everybody is never a great idea. One trophy in 22 years is one of AFC’s worst ever runs.

But, publicly stating on TV “a strong Rangers is good for Scottish football” is unforgivable for an AFC spokesman.

He is clearly not good with dealing with publicity, that is not really his fault. But surely somebody at AFC just has to whisper in his ear “tell them the titles should be stripped and letting a new rangers join the league at an improved position is unacceptable” and he could have been a legend.

We don’t crave much. A trophy and a siege mentality that Aberdeen is special.

    .
You could perhaps make the case for him not doing it in the first place but he did it twice & the second time came out of nowhere on a slow news day.

    He’s a hun rimming @rsehole

Paying Wiilie Donald millions to put services etc into his housing schemes, then getting the same man, to part with the same cash, to get the club out of the ****e that he had got us in. That is not a highlight, it's a mark of genius !!

The obvious highlight is that stupid wig he used to wear. That thing didn't fool anybody.
