O/T That embarrassment representing English cricket

Has anybody been watching that shameful performance from our so-called Test team, absolute embarrassment.
No point in singling anyone out they are all ****ers! They have been totally disinterested in doing what they are bloody well paid for, whilst the Black Caps give every ounce of effort they can give every game ours pick and choose when they can be bothered. The top order were dreadful, they call Root world class, crap. He has been found out and ain't got any response. He goes down the order to make it easier for him, yellow belly!! Your're still crap at 4 Root and you're as bad at captaincy.
As for the bowlers, did you watch last night?? My god they were pitiful, Broad is past it except on English wickets whilst Archer just was'nt at the races. I suppose inexperience can be labelled at him as some excuse but he was about as frightening as a dead mouth.
Oh, I cant be bothered with the fielders!!
    Disgrace!!

    Exactly!!
As I said then they pick and choose when they can be bothered.
When they show some grit at least that can justify their selection as clearly quality is sparse, that grit brought about positivity against Australia but has again gone AWOL in SA!! That allows the lack of quality to rise to the surface. One can accept limitations in ability but not zero bottle when representing your country!
The same applies to that shower at PP.

Not sure it’s the fairest time to judge them Mac.
This test is surely gone, but half of them are ill, the other half are coming back from illness and Ben Stoke’s head is bound to be elsewhere at the moment.
Having said that...I’ve no idea what the ‘plan’ is and still don’t understand Root’s decision to put them in first on a wicket that is only going to deteriorate.
Great player Root...unconvinced by his captaincy.

Worse thing that happened choosing Root as skipper, I agree few to choose from but hindsight shows he is not good tactically and he has lost his 'natural' approach to batting!
As they stated on the 'Cricket Debate' we have got only 2 test standard batters, Root and Stokes, with Bairstow and Butler being the only other candidates but having completely lost it! So we need to show resilience but instead we play wishy washy you can easily get me out shots. Bad guts are no excuse! They simply chuck the towel in thinking we'll do better next test!
    Well, do ffffing better now\!!

Tbh, I’d bring Morgan in and make him captain.
Reckon he’d be accepted by the whole squad, he has the leadership credentials and he’s probably got a couple of years left in him to teach either Root, or whoever the next captain is, the rudiments and skills of captaincy.
I know he struggled a bit at 5 day level but he can hardly weaken the current middle order.

Oh well...all out at last. Think we’re staring down the barrel of a 200 run defeat...hope I’m wrong...but I do think being ill in such circumstances is a valid excuse this time. You’re a hard man, mac.
