    Cup draw ahead...

Anyone fancy a home draw against Broxburn Athletic, BSC Glasgow or East Kilbride?

When does the draw take place? Another Premiership team or Dundee United away from home?

    Sportscene tonight apparently.

We are surely due a break from top-flight opposition so, aye, Tannadice worth a fiver for sure!

I for one can't wait to find out which top flight side we will be paired with this time around. Although saying that the predictions of Dundee United sound more than typical for us knowing our awful luck in Cup draws.

I would like the easiest possible draw at home to increase our chances of progression and a Cup run but as ever you just know it will be a stinker of a draw for us and another early exit.

Hardly exciting but you'd expect us to progress. We've said that before mind...

Not great draw for eliminating the opposition either but if we get through and if we get lucky in the last 16 it could look a lot better. But I wouldn't be booking a weekend off in May.

We may have avoided the usual Premiership tie by name at least, but this is yet another rotten draw for us. A tough away tie to a high flying Championship side when just about every other top flight sides get easy draws. It's just a horrible draw and even if we do get through, we're more likely than not to meet anyone of Celtic, Rangers, Aberdeen, Hearts and Dundee Utd/Hibs as with the exception of the losing side from Utd v Hibs, those sides will all get through as they have byes to the next round.

Another thoroughly depressing draw and hopes of a Cup run dashed already.

Its Dundee away ffs.......hardly a mountain to climb...if we can not see us winning this then we really should not be dreaming of a Hampden semi/final.
