    Nuno?

The only thing that reassures me about this is its a Daily Mail piece. Hopefully it is just as much bull crap as the rest of their new stories.

Why would he want to move to Arsenal? Merson at the weekend was saying that Arsenal should go and get him. He has a project at Wolves that he wants to see through. Fosun talk about Wolves becoming the best club in Europe, and they appear to back Nuno to take us there.

It makes me smile that people think that the top six can just click their fingers and people will move ship. The power wheel is slowly turning, and some of the so called big names need to be looking over their shoulders.

I think I’d be wary of Arsenal if I was Nuno. But at the same time, it’s a historic club. And managers are competitive people. I think Wolves want to be a consistent top 5 club. But it might be an easier, faster path to be a top 5 manager at Arsenal. I’m sure he’s confident in his abilities.

We won’t hang onto him forever. If he leaves, I’ll thank him and wish him luck whenever he’s not facing Wolves. But I hope he stays. Would be hard to find another manager that can match his passion for the game, the club and his players.

    👍

Nuno has built a team that is contending for a top six place, we are one result from qualifying for the knockout stages of a European tournament.

He knows that Fosun are behind him.

He has a rapport with the fans unlike anything I’ve ever known.

Why would he move at this point? I just can’t see it.

Abbo, you've articulated exactly what I was thinking ...

Arsenal have sacked Emery, so I guess this is when we find out if...

    1. The interest is genuine
    2. Fosun's will to keep the best manager we have had in my lifetime
    3. Nuno's attitude to the situation. I think he will feel he has unfinished business here with a squad he has built.

Life without Nuno at the helm feels slightly apocalyptic.

Nuno currently 6/4 favourite to get Arsenal job. I certainly will not be having a wager.

They'll go for Pochettino. He is a free agent, it's one up on spurs, with a lot of their fans still not wanting him to have left. That's what I reckon anyways

Massimillano Allegri has emerged as a leading candidate for Arsenal after a flurry of money has moved him to 15/8 favourite.

Surprisingly, having had a quick look at a couple of message boards, Arsenal fans seem comfortable with that idea.
