Fastest ever player at Tannadice

I’ve been following United since mid 70’s. We have had some real speedy guys ie Ralphie, Robbie Winters , Jerren Nixon.
Who do you thinks is the fastest you have seen ?

100% Christian Dailly. Some magazine was doing a weekly feature-might’ve been the Shoot- where they measured fastest player, hardest shot and keeper’s throw. Dailly finished in the top 5 in the UK(might have been top three) over 100m. John Clark was hardest shot and was pretty high up in the final uk standings too.

The speed he used to chase down and recover lost causes was pretty amazing.

Wasn’t there a timed run of Ralphie sprinting end to end at Tannadice in the press back in the day?

Always thought John Clark was the fastest, and would i be right that he did a mid 10s 100m at whatever trials the SFA did at the time?
