    David Duckenfield.

    Found not guilty by trial.A jury of 7 Women & 3 Men returned a verdict of not guilty.Its time to let it rest now.

    Unexpected decision, given what has come out at the trial! I doubt that the families of those killed will agree with sentiments expressed in the opening post.

    Juries should be 5 men and 5 women, that would be fairer.

    I suppose the jury will have heard a lot more than us mike & they have given their verdict on the evidence, for & against.

    How many times is this going to be brought up.
    As someone has posted a jury has heard the evidence and he was found not guilty of manslaughter.

    If they want to continue with this then the authorities should run a parallel enquiry into the Heysel disaster. The perpetrators names should be made public and their photos posted on national TV like Mr Dukinfield.

    It,s conveniently forgotten by their fans and there is no memorial at Anfield for those poor Italians and Belgians.

    Because men and women are different.

    Women are usually more emotional and a softer touch.

    If you had all-women juries there would be a lot more people being found innocent as they'd be more likely to fall for the defendants' sob stories.
