If you read the article mate I see it the other way? I think they are getting shut of similar to us and replacing with a team to invest in them!
Being taken over by foreign consortium [sounds familiar] current owner been trying to sell club for 2 & half years
No worries though EFL will have to give their approval

Charlton fans angry with current Foreign owner for a long time so a individual can pose the same threat as a consortium - Oysten family at Blackpool another example. Nothing to do with British or Foreign owners, or individual owner , consortium or family, good eggs and bad eggs on our doorsteps irrespective of where they are from.
Nobody can be worst than this money grabbing mob we have here
Don't get me wrong, i am very unhappy now with our current owners including the silent James Cryne, but i don't begrudge them wanting to make some money from their investment. My biggest beef is to their stubborn approach to not wanting to loan a Danny Drinkwater or a Harvey Barnes type of player or sign a experienced proven quality player, Blackburn a classic example last week having Stewart Downing and Danny Graham coming off their bench, selling or not prepared to extend contracts to key players in or out of contract.
