    Since the “Doon Derby”

‪Dundee’s home league record since that‬ fateful night is quite something: ‬

    ‪Played 48 ‬
    ‪Won 11 ‬
    ‪Drawn 9 ‬
    ‪Lost 28 ‬

‪Nearly a 60% loss rate. Relegated and back to struggling in the 2nd tier. Normal service resumed.

I know it wont make it look much better but they have had a good bit more home league games than that since then, more in the 60-65 range

You’re correct. I missed out the season after we went down.

Then surely they must have been a good cup team getting to Hampden etc in one of the domestic cups and shedding their tradition of being pumped out regularly to lower league teams?

Amazingly we’ve done better in the Cups since we went down than they have. Two quarter finals versus one. So even after going down we’re still doing better than them - how is that even possible?
