I do hope that, if they do take him for treatment, he has sufficient medical insurance to pay for his treatment.

Most of the time BT you come across as quite a compassionate man , why is it the Trump tune ? And if the mans struggling wouldn’t you rather see him treated and convicted of his so called crimes.
Anyway if Diane Abbot is involved she’ll have filed that under something completely irrelevant to his case and it will be that last we hear of it. 🤔

He was holed up in a foreign Embassy evading a trumped up rape allegation, now he is being held on remand in a high security prison while the Trump regime try to extradite him on a spurious conspiracy charge.
No trial, no justice. WTF is wrong with our government?

You are aware of the supposed "Duty of care" the Home Office must adhere to with any person incarcerated within our prison system. Do you propose we charge him full board as well Supersub6?

Assange and Chelsea Manning have both been imprisoned for exposing US and British war crimes that led to the deaths of one million people in Iraq. If extradited to the United States, Assange faces the threat of indefinite detention or charges under the Espionage Act that carry the death penalty.

We should all be demanding his immediate release from Belmarsh Prison and that the UK government exercise its veto power to block Assange’s extradition to the United States.

Assange is being punished for the “crime” of publishing true information to the citizens of the world. His persecution is a threat to press freedom and the democratic rights of the entire universal working class. I can't see Ugly Patel stepping up to the plate can you?

He is a foreign national who holed up in a foreign embassy in our country and ended up in prison. He has been getting free board and lodgings for the past 7+ years. Let him out and send him back to Australia so that he can get treatment --he is just milking our system and will expect the cash strapped NHS to treat him. Meanwhile, we have lots of veterans, who have committed no crimes, but are living on the streets, many with PTSD but they can't get any help at all.

MInd you, your leader will be all in favour of looking after Assange whilst persecuting our own lads ---funny old world isn't it?

Lots of different issues you managed to sneak in there old chap.

The MOD need to step up to the plate and protect our ex-Servicemen from litigation and homelessness . This "law and order" Tory government is one long bad joke.

I'm sure if Ugly Patel would release him, Assange would be off like a shot. Detention without trial is what our military fight all over the globe to prevent.

Not sure where you are going with this?

Surely since Trump likes a deal we could swap him for a certain lady motorist who was spirited away by the USA following an accident.
