Unfortunately a 1-2 loss. Our goalie was solid. Our rightback was excellent and had some super runs. Our 2 centrebacks are well drilled, organised and combine very well.
Afraid our midfield have to show a much improved effort. Far too many easy option back passes and a lack of attacking moves which led to our forwards never being involved in the game. Not their fault they had no support. Our opponents enjoyed far too many unopposed attacking runs.
The first goal conceded was a cruel fluke deflection that could not be saved. Their second goal came from yet another unopposed run with a good long range shot. A well taken goal. Our goal came in the final minute. Afraid it was too little to late.
With a little mor effort it could easily have been a different result.
