White - keep at CB or CM

With Phillips suspended for next game, rumours around that MB,may consider White as DM/CM. For me the defence has been pretty solid, so should be left as is. With Forshaw out, not too sure on who is best replacement - Dallas / Shack,( better out wide ) or maybe time for McAlmont.
That leaves Berardi, but in a tense Yorkshire derby, could be a gamble.

White could easily play CM but, as you suggest, our strong defence has been at the heart of our season so far. I don't know how long Forshaw is out for but I suppose either Dallas, Shackleton or Roberts (injury permitting) could play in teh centre with Klich. Either that, of move Pablo inside and switch Costa out wide? We will be missing the control and ball winning of Phillips as we don't really have another player in that mould (I think Dallas is probably the least bad option). Also Phillips needs to stop getting booked :-)

Keep him at center back, move Klich back to fill Phillips role, then bring Shackleton in.

McalMont for me. Looks a shoe in replacement in style and his passing and tackling is exceptional

Agree - why would you move White from a role where he has performed beyond expectations. We have other options in CM so it is a chance to see that they can do and Mcalmont looks very very good when playing for the U23s and with the experience around him, a confident team and an underperforming Hudds team seems the perfect time to see what he can do.

Maybe he will play Dallas there though

this is where that one question mark against MB crops up, his apparent reluctance (at least since the early part of last season anyway) to bring any more of the youngsters into the starting 11. I agree that McAlmont seems like the obvious replacement, but pound to a penny he'll move White into DM and play Berardi as CB.

    OWT,

hope you are wrong but would not bet against it. if correct should be good for one PK or red card.
